Meet Sabrina

Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Certified Sex Therapist

Hi there!

Thank you for visiting my website. I know looking for a therapist can be a daunting experience so take a moment to thank yourself for taking this step.

About my professional experience...

My lifelong curiosity about human connection & behavior led me to pursue a career in therapy. After receiving my bachelor’s degree from Flagler College in Saint Augustine, FL, I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida.

I went on to pursue specialty areas by becoming a Certified Sex Therapist through the International Institute for Clinical Sexology and a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA. Additionally, I have extensive post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Somatic Integration and Processing, and parts work (IFS & ego states). Following several years in organizational mental health settings, I opened my private practice in 2021.

About my practice...

I love working with both individuals and partnerships who want a more balanced, connected, and authentic life.

For individual clients, I support those navigating incidental or attachment-based trauma using EMDR, parts work (IFS/ego states), and cognitive-based therapy models. I also integrate somatic approaches to help clients notice and release physical sensations, recognizing that our bodies carry memories and hold onto past experiences.

In my work with couples and partners, I guide clients who are committed to identifying and shifting unhelpful relational patterns. I specialize in helping individuals and partners navigate diverse relationship dynamics—including open relationships, polyamory, and ethical non-monogamy—as well as addressing sexual concerns, intimacy issues, or a shared desire for positive sexual change.

About me...

I value authenticity, honesty, and connection - which is apparent in my practice as a therapist and a as a human. I genuinely consider it a privilege when people allow themselves to be vulnerable with me, especially knowing it involves such risk. I am intentional about offering an honest and safe space but am also direct and will help you challenge your unhelpful beliefs.

When I'm not at my practice, I am with my family who I endlessly value. I have a passion for good company, music, exercise, and the outdoors. Part of why I'm in this profession is because I know what it is like to work for a fulfilling life and know that while it isn't always pretty, it is always worth it.
